Aviation Warehouse & Logistics Administrator

Western Aircraft, one of the largest aircraft services companies in the nation is looking for an Aviation Warehouse & Logistics Administrator in beautiful Boise, Idaho!


Job Summary
The Aviation Warehouse & Logistics Administrator works to support the Warehouse Manager, the OTC Sales and shipping/receiving teams. In addition, this The Aviation Warehouse & Logistics Administrator will take incoming calls and perform various administrative duties such as light accounting, package tracking, and auditing, and has ultimate responsibility for the flow of warranty issues, core returns and purchases, inventory and assessment, and notification of delays associated with both warranty and core issues.  In this supportive role, the Aviation Warehouse & Logistics Administrator essentially helps Western Aircraft exceed our customer’s expectations.

Job Duties
  • Core Returns from Customers and Maintenance
    • Monitor and expedite core returns from customers and maintenance
    • Resolve customers/maintenance core issues
  • Core Returns to Vendors
    • Negotiate extensions, credits, or billings as necessary
  • Core Inventory
    • Overhaul/Repair Western Aircraft owned cores and maintain an increasing exchange parts inventory
    • Warranty Parts Clams and RGA Requests
    • Process and track rotables warranty parts and claims, and process RGA requests
    • Process warranty claims with various vendors
    • Monitor claim processes and insure warranty payments
  • Overhaul Vendors
    • Qualify vendors by capabilities and experience
    • Monitor vendors based on quality of overhaul work
    • Establish and maintain standard overhaul cost
  • Core Purchases and Sales
    • Purchase parts and materials as needed
    • Buy core units that have been pre-approved by management
    • Maintain a market analysis on exchange pricing for rotables stock
    • Search the market for needed cores, and negotiate prices
  • Perform Cycle Counts on a quarterly basis, and/or as needed
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications
Experience & Competencies:
  • 2 years’ recent experience working in rotables environment, preferably in the aviation or automotive industry
  • 1 years’ experience working with a database and spreadsheet programs
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
