**Shifts include Monday through Thursday (four 10 hour shifts), or Friday/Saturday/Sunday (three 12 hour shifts)**
Job Summary: The Apprentice Maintenance Intern will work side by side with licensed maintenance technicians to assist them with inspection, testing, repair, maintenance, and service of aircraft using test equipment and hand tools, as needed, to return aircraft to service per FAA and manufacturers specifications. Job Duties:
Assists licensed maintenance technicians in performing routine maintenance and inspections on general aviation aircraft
Ensures proper care of customer property at all phases of maintenance work
Continually keeps clean and organized work area including personal tool box
Documents all On-The- Job-Training (OJT) to support work experience
Performs other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Experience & Skillset:
Aviation or automotive mechanical experience a plus
Basic sheet metal capabilities a plus
Basic electrical capabilities a plus
Ability to follow directions and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
Possesses an ability to work in a fast-pace and occasionally stressful environment while maintaining a high degree of flexibility and accuracy, and attention to detail and to company quality standards
Education:
Must be 18 years’ old with High School Diploma or equivalent
